One person dies in a collision between a scooter and car in Mojacar, Almeria.
According to sources at the emergency services, at 11:15 yesterday an accident on the AL-5150, the road from Mojacar to Carbonera, claimed the life of a scooter rider.
After the accident the scooter rider suffered a heart attack while being transferred by helicopter to hospital.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was treated firstly at the health centre in Mojacar and then transferred to the Huercal Overa hospital.
The car involved in the accident fell 3 metres into a ravine. The accident was attended by local police, the Civil Guard, emergency services and firemen.
